My name is Micala Khavari. Senior at the University of Denver. Major in International Studies with minors in Writing Practices and Religious Studies.

 

Born and raised in Arvada, Colorado (just 25 minutes from the University of Denver), I hope to live abroad soon either teaching or researching. 

 

Someday I'll use writing to affect policy change at home and abroad. Maybe you'll hear my voice behind the face of a politician. Or in the jargon of a think tank article. Or maybe it'll stay hidden in the classified documents of the State Department. Maybe you'll catch me in the arguments of a human rights and development blog.
